This is an editorial meetup to discuss Coze 2023 Issue 7. All Coze pieces, along with their structural edits, will be revised by the whole editorial team in attempts to uncover any remaining structural problems before commencing copyediting.

Curtin Writers Club will be selling copies of Coze 2023, along with old stock for a discounted price. There will also be a selection of second hand books available to purchase for the discerning reader.

Curtin Writers Club is holding is annual Performance Poetry/Poetry Slam/Open Mic Night. There will be food offered and prizes to win on the night.

This is the second cumpulsory editors workshop for the editors of Coze 2023 Issue 7.

The Performance Poetry Workshop is a preliminary event to Curtin Writers Club Annual Performance Poetry/Poetry Slam/Open Mic night. It is held with the aim of introducing the Performance Poetry attendees to performance poetry, what it is and how to write it.

We're delighted to announce our collaboration event with the Curtin Tabletop Club! Join us at Club HQ for a night of TTRPG worldbuilding fun!  This event is open to CT and CWC members only. This is a great opportunity for you to discuss your interpretations of the theme for Coze Issue 7 (2023): 'Connection' with your fellow club members! You could also gain potential inspiration for your Coze 2023 submission. If you already have a draft to workshop, this is a great chance for you to gain some valuable feedback on your piece! We're pleased to announce the theme for Coze Issue 7 (2023) will be: Connection! Whether it be forming a connection with someone new, reconnecting with someone from the past, disconnecting from those who bring you down, or even maintaining these connections in present time — at the end of the day, connections will always contribute to how you define yourself and those around you. Your ideas for a piece involving 'Connection' will come in handy for our first Coze Workshop of the semester! Date: Friday, 31 March Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm Location: Club HQ (106B)

CWC are delighted to announce that the official launch of Coze Issue 6 (2022) is happening at our Coze Launch and Welcome Event!   Date and Time: Wednesday 22 March, 1pm-3pm Location: Club HQ (Room 106B), Curtin University    Coze Journal is Curtin Writers Club's annual literary print publication, which collects writing by club members as well as illustrations by members of Curtin Illustration Club.    At this event, not only will you be able to hear contributors read their aloud and support a publication created entirely by students, but you will also be able to meet and network with fellow emerging writers! Attendees will also be able to vote for the Coze 2023 theme!   Copies of Coze Journal Issue 6 (2022) will be available to purchase for $20 cash (contributors will receive a $5 discount on their first physical copy), as well as copies of previous issues.   Come along for an afternoon dedicated to celebrating and supporting emerging local writers!
