This is the second Coze workshop for CWC's annual literary journal. Participants will be encouraged to share their writing and recieve feedback.  

This workshop is a collaboration event between Curtin Writers Club and Curtin Game Development Club, building on last year's success of the Split-Screen Workshop. It is a workshop for members of both clubs to discuss video game development, focusing on aspects of narrative creation.  

Per Henningsgaard will be teaching the Coze 2024 editors how to edit.  

This is the first Coze workshop of the year where authors will be encouraged to attend and brainstorm ideas for their opportunity to contribute to Coze Issue 8 (2024). Our Editor-In-Chief, Cheyenne Valero, will be hosting this workshop to guide authors through the process of developing an idea for eventual submission. Light refreshments will be on offer.

Curtin Writers Club will be holding their annual Welcome Event, all the while launching their latest publication, Coze Issue 7 (2023). Members and non-members will be attending to purchase copies of our latest edition, meet old and new members, network, and have fun. Light refreshments will be available.  

Curtin Writers Club once a semester casual meet up for the ordinary members and a launch of the reprint of Coze Issue 5 2021.

Curtin Writers Club AGM where activities for the year just past will be discussed, all members will be updated on the running of the club and executive committee members elected for 2024.

A collaboration event between Curtin Writers Club and the Curtin Film Production Society to develop their scripts further.

This workshop will be dedicated to the works that have been accepted for Coze Issue 7, and as such, only contributors, editors, and illustrators should attend the event. Discuss your work(s) with  authors or discuss your edits with other editors for feedback, and discuss internal illustrations with Curtin Illustration Club members!  

A collaboration event between Curtin Writers Club and the Curtin Film Production Society to introduce club members to screenwriting.

The Split Screen Workshop is a collaboration event between Curtin Writers Club and Curtin Game Development Club. It will cover video games and writing, adapting narratives to games, writing around restrictions and the documents used in writing video games. There will be activities, both individual and group. Particpants will also have the opportunity to write a pitch and then pitch their ideas for feedback.  

This is an editorial meetup to discuss Coze 2023 Issue 7. All Coze pieces, along with their structural edits, will be revised by the whole editorial team in attempts to uncover any remaining structural problems before commencing copyediting.
